PRICING

My name is Jenna Klepper, AKA Mermaid Azora.  I am the owner and founder of Mermaid Azora, LLC.  I have been a mermaid and overall swim enthusiast who has taught swimming since 2004!  My current qualifications include: American Red Cross: Water Safety Instructor, Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Instructor, AED & O2 Administration, and Preventing Disease Transmission.  I enjoy the outdoors, but mostly love being in the water; race swimming, synchronized swimming, water polo, triathlons, scuba diving, snorkeling, free diving, mermaiding and any other aquatic related activity!  I was a teacher for 10 years, ranging from pre-school age to 8th graders with special needs.

Our Mission Statement

Mermaid Azora's mission is to teach swimming and safety around the water in a fun and relaxing way.  In order to reach this goal, I have hand-picked the most qualified people to help make everyone a mermaid like us!

Mermaid Azora Instructors are:

  • Certified Water Safety Instructors (WSI)

  • CPR/AED certified

  • Trained to teach water safety

  • Have experiences in swimming and/or other aquatic activities

  • Positive, patient, friendly, responsible, and FUN!

  • Able to custom-make a lesson to fit your needs and swimming goals


Mermaid Azora Swim Lesson Key Principles:
 

  1. Safety- Living so close to the water, safety is our number one priority.  We want to make sure that you and your family are safe in and around the water at all times.  Our instructors are all trained in how to respond to an emergency, should one ever arise. Our instructors teach lessons in a safe way and promote safety throughout every swimming level to help keep all swimmers educated in case of an emergency.

  2. Fun- After safety, our biggest goal is to make lessons fun!  We want our swimmers to look forward to lessons and enjoy spending time in the water with and without their instructor.  We believe that the more fun the lesson, the more eager a student is to learn; therefore, a student will learn quicker.  We want to make everyone a mermaid like us!

  3. Swimming- Our instructors have a long and strong background in swimming themselves.  We believe that safe swimming as well as technique are equally important when enjoying the life-long sport of swimming. Our instructors develop technique while teaching water safety in a fun way. We want to get our swimmers just as excited about swimming, safety, fitness, and health as much as we are!

Swim Lesson Pricing Information
* Rates are based on 1/2 hour lessons. Please ask for hourly rates and about other discounts.  For lessons that require extra travel time, a service fee may be applied.  Areas with a travel fee include (but are not limited to): Odessa, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Sarasota, Naples, & Fort Myers *

Private Lesson Rates
30 minute Private lesson- $50 OR $470 for a package of 10 lessons
45 minute private lesson- $75 
60 minute private lesson- $100

Group Lesson Rates
30 minute group lesson- $35/child or $320/child for a package of 10 lessons
45 minute group lesson- $53/child
60 minute group lesson- $70/child

Payment

Payment is expected prior to or upon completion of each lesson OR may be purchased ahead in a series of 10 lessons.  Mermaid Azora Aquatics accepts cash, checks made payable to Mermaid Azora Aquatics, or venmo @MermaidAzora.

Cancellation Policy

Swim lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled lesson or you will still be charged the full amount of the lesson.

Weather: Lessons are done in rain or shine.  The only exception is thunder and lightning.  The instructor will call to cancel if this is the case.

Mermaid Appearances & Performances

 

Appearances- Let Mermaid Azora come to your next party or event! We do parties for mermaids of all ages- from big to small, from simple to all-inclusives, we can create the best experience for the special mermaid in your life!  We do appearances at mermaid birthday parties, library story times, wine mixers, graduation parties, and any event you can think of! 

 

Performances- Jenna/Mermaid Azora has been a synchronized swimmer (now known as artistic swimming!) since 1999! Jenna is a gold medal masters national synchronized swimmer in two events, helping her team and combo routines not only win the event, but to bring home the High Point Award for the competition. This background allows us to cater to your specific event taste- whether it be a synchronized swimming routine (aquatic performance) or a mermaid routine, adding an aquatic performance to your next event is sure to be a crowd pleaser! 

 

 

Dry Event Package: 

 

Family/Birthday Party: $250 per hour (one hour minimum)

Festivals/Corporate Events: $300 per hour (one hour minimum)

 

The basic dry event package includes:

  • Mermaid throne setup

  • Photo opportunities with guests

  • “Bouncemer” (photographer)

  • Story Time* optional for birthday parties based on age of participants

  • Mermaid Azora sticker for each guest

 

Please contact us so we can build an appearance to meet your needs! Your total event cost will be determined as we work together to plan your event!

 

 

Water Event Package:

*This package is for events at venues that have pools or aquatic features, such as tanks*

 

Family/Birthday Parties: $300 per hour (minimum of one hour)

Festival/Corporate Event: $350 per hour (minimum of one hour)

 

The basic water event package includes:

  • Photo opportunities with guests

  • “Bouncemer”

  • Swimming mermaid & water performance (note: this can be done with or without a tail, depending on your event)

  • Mermaid water games with guests* optional for birthday parties, depending on age of participants

  • Mermaid Azora stickers for each guest

 

 

Private Meet & Greet: $175 

Surprise someone special with a 30 minute one-on-one mermaid meet & greet just for them!

 

The private meet & greet is perfect for your day at the beach, at the springs, or a surprise visit at your house! Mermaid Azora will swim up to your location and be available for a half-hour of mermaid magic, questions, and photos!

 

The basic private meet & greet includes:

  • “Bouncemer” 

  • A signed print from Mermaid Azora

  • Mermaid Azora sticker
